SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Mindstudio
is a community of curious, ambitious and growth minded individuals passionate
about self-improvement. It is a place
where people come together to share what they’ve been through and what they’ve
learned.
We wish for candid contributors, like yourself,
to share your authentic voices and unique points of view.
Anyone, of any age, from any location can
submit an original post (not previously published anywhere else, including your
own site), with a bio, for inclusion on our website.
This is not an exclusive space, reserved for
experts, thought leaders, or professional writers. This is a website where
information is shared in order for us all to grow.
WHAT MAKES A STRONG ARTICLE
·
They are deeply
personal. They are clear thoughts and don’t include vague references to the
authors’ experiences. Rather, the article should draw the reader in
emotionally, painting a vivid picture of a universal, relatable life
experience.
·
They dig beneath the
surface. The advice should be insightful and thought provoking, enabling
readers to understand themselves and the world on a deeper level.
·
They’re practical and
actionable when applicable. Not all posts need a list of things to do; in fact,
some are more powerful without one. But when the topic warrants clear
action steps, these posts deliver.
WHY CONTRIBUTE TO
MINDSTUDIO?
1. Your post will receive exposure
2. Every post includes a bio with links back
to your site.
WRITING GUIDELINES
·
Include a visual at
the top of your post.
·
The word counts should
be between 1,000 and 2,500 words.
·
Share a particular story
from your life, with relatable detail. For example, don’t just tell us you went
through a tough time; show us. What happened? Who was there? What do you think
caused this to happen? How did you feel when it happened? And after it? The
article will be far more powerful if you also share the lesson learnt.
·
Suggest insights and
practical tips to help readers overcome similar challenges.
·
Choose a topic related
to personal growth, discovery of self, empowerment, self-discovery and so on.
Topics that would enlighten and enable people to be the best version of
themselves.
·
Provide original,
personal, and honest work. Original means your post has never been published
anywhere, including your own blog, and does not include any sections taken from
a previously published post.
·
Keep paragraphs to
three sentences or fewer. Include a bio, seventy-five words or fewer, at the
bottom of the post. You can include as many links as you’d like.
·
Reserve self-promotion
to your bio (as opposed to marketing a business course, workshop, or service
directly in the post). Please note that links in the body of the post may be
removed.
HOW TO SUBMIT
·
Send your post in
plain text, not HTML, in Microsoft Word to info@mindstudio.com.ng with the
title in the subject line. Please only send one submission per email.
A FEW MORE THINGS TO
KEEP IN MIND
If your post feels like a good fit for our
website, you will receive a response within two weeks. If you don’t receive a
response, please feel free to try again with a different post.
You may be asked to revise your article, to strengthen
it or make it clearer, and your proposed title may be changed before the
article goes live.
Your article may be edited for clarity, grammar,
and overall style. If there are any major changes made, you will be asked to
review and approve it first.
Thank you for being part of the Mindstudio
community!
