Far Apart

Being far apart in time and space,

but close enough to feel each other’s soul 

Being far apart in truth and possibilities,

but close enough as band of thieves 

Being far apart to avoid consequences,

but close enough to feel and suffer repercussions 

Being far apart in intimacy,

but close enough to feel the loving words spoken miles away 

Being far apart in strength,

but close enough in pain 

Being scared to experience this distance that consequences has produced,

but too far apart to truly experience the reality that exist
